AAEM is integrated within and collaborates with different networks in the area of agricultural economics, such as:

• Regional (Balkan) associations of agricultural economists: Slovenian Association of Agricultural Economists (DAES), Croatian Association of Agricultural Economists (HAED) etc. 

• European association of agricultural economists: The European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE)

Liaison officer with the EAAE: Prof. d-r Aleksandra Martinovska-Stojcheska 

• International association of agricultural economists: The International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE)

 

AAEM collaborates with universities through their Departments/Institutes of agricultural economics, especially in the region. Each year, AAEM takes active participation on the annual meeting of the Balkan agricultural economists, each year organized by a different Balkan host institution by the following schedule:

• 2016    Osijek, Republic of Croatia

• 2017    Belgrade, Republic of Serbia

• 2018    Banja Luka, Bosnia & Herzegovina

• 2019    Ohrid, Republic of North Macedonia
